"I remember anxiously picking Christy up for our first date. As I nervously awaited by the front door, Loki was yapping at the door and Christy came down the stairs with her long flowing hair in slow motion (think Baywatch) hollering at him with a squirt bottle in hand to squirt him to quiet him down (it didn’t work). She looked absolutely stunning and took my breath away! On the way to dinner, conversation naturally flowed between us as if we had known each other for years. As we had food and drinks, I was blown away by her confidence and attentiveness as she never broke eye contact with me. I had never seen such confidence, independence and such a work ethic in a woman and I knew at that point she was the one I had been looking for all along. " -Shawn

"I remember being so nervous when Shawn arrived to pick me up for our first date (like a true gentlemen, which is so rare in this day and age). He was so handsome and confident and I was smitten. All of a sudden I seemed to have turned into an air head. It was hard to gather my thoughts and I was embarrassed that my new dog, Loki would not stop barking at him when he arrived. Out of desperation, I grabbed a squirt bottle, hoping it would help quiet Loki down. It epically failed, but Shawn didn't hold it against me. Shawn put me at ease, and conversation with him was so easy right from the get go. I was impressed with how mature and well put together he was. We had so much in common and shared the same morals and I knew right then and there that he was someone I could trust and could picture spending the rest of my life with. I knew I had found my forever." - Christy

Now we enjoy raising our two fur babies (Goose and Loki) and building our American Dream together. We have already accomplished so much and we can't wait to see what the many years ahead bring us. We have purchased our dream property right on the water of Long Lake, where we enjoy renovating our home that we will one day turn into a destination Airbnb. Eventually we will build our dream home next door, but in the meantime we plan to maximize our dream, the joy of living on the water. We look forward to our first summer on the water full of swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, and boating 💕
