The mall is only a 15 minute walk from La Quinta Inn & Suites
- See the Aerial Lift Bridge, which raises for ships entering the harbor basin from Lake Superior.
- If you keep driving past Canal Park and over the lift bridge you will come to Park Point Beach
- Take a stroll on the lakewalk and stop to see the "icehouse", a building in middle of the lake! If you'd like to learn more about the icehouse click here.
- Rent scooters and ride around - Leaf Ride electric scooters can be found all over canal
- Stop at Love Creamery for really good Ice Cream
- Get lunch at the Social House - Christy's favorite restaurant in Duluth
Also located in Canal Park with an outdoor playground close by, the Aquarium is a family friendly Duluth must see.

The Black Sand Beach is cool, it's 1 hour drive from Duluth
