Joe and Christy first met at Vaughan Elementary school in August of 1996 where they were both placed in Mrs. Davis' kindergarten class. They instantly connected and became close friends.

They remained close friends throughout grade school and into their college years. They turned their friendship into more in 2013 when they officially started dating.

Christy and Joe got engaged on February 28th, 2021 at the small lake they use to fish and play at when they were younger.

They now reside in Woodstock, GA with their adopted cat Thackery Binx living happily. Joe works for American express while Christy is a Registered Nurse.

Joe and Christy are excited to celebrate their 25th friendship anniversary this August 2021 by getting married this October 30th, 2021.
