Christy and Jared met in Kinesiology class in 2014 at Quakertown High School. Jared was a sophomore and Christy was a junior who had just transferred to Quakertown from the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. About a month after they first met, Jared asked Christy to be his girlfriend on October 10, 2014. Throughout high school, Christy and Jared attended 4 proms together, took countless trips to Applebee's for half-off apps after Friday night football games, and watched each other graduate in consecutive years.

After high school, the couple started their long-distance journey as Christy went off to Immaculata University and Jared attended Temple University. They took turns taking the train ride back and forth to visit each other for anniversaries, Cotilions, Pi Kapp formals, holidays, and more. Once they made it through college, their long-distance only lasted a couple more months as they both moved down to Oxford, MS to start their next adventure (with their newly adopted kitten, Archie)! Their year in Oxford brought many new friends, memories, and even another kitten, Lani.

They now live in Winston-Salem, NC where Christy is a dietitian at Novant Health and Jared works with Wake Forest Athletics.

As we settle into our new home in North Carolina, we are so excited to share our big day in June with all of our friends and family that have been on this 8 and a half year journey with us. Cheers!!
