Chuck Taylor and Jacey met November 13, 2021 through a mutual friend at Pondaseta Brewery in Amarillo, TX.

Jacey was obsessed with Chuck Taylor's dog, Tilly, and found out quickly that the best way to get her attention was to sit next to Chuck Taylor. From there Jacey followed Tilly on instagram and a friendship began.

Before having started dating in June, 2022 Chuck Taylor had previously asked Jacey out and she had said no, that she wasn't ready. He asked again in June, saying he was content to be in each other's lives but really wanted to give it a try. They went out to a park with their girls (Chloe and Tilly) and after talking for hours began dating!

Flash forward to July 1, 2023 and after standing with each other through life changes, many trips, and tons of laughter Chuck Taylor asked, "Marry me?". He had been planning a surprise engagement for 5 months and the plan had executed perfectly! With Lake Tahoe as the backdrop, Chuck Taylor and Jacey planned their next step in life- together.

Now, Chuck Taylor and Jacey can't wait to share their commitment with intimate friends and family.
