We recommend staying in Sant'Agnello. This is the area where the wedding will take place and the general area for access to Sorrento main square. You will have easy access to everything staying in this area. We kindly ask that no guests other than our immediate family book to stay at Hotel Corallo. This is a very posh and luxurious hotel for those who want to treat themselves! It also sits right behind Hotel Corallo

This is a more budget friendly hotel which is also a short walking distance from Hotel Corallo. Cián and I stayed here when we came to Sorrento to view wedding venues!

Where to Stay

We highly recommend taking a ferry from Sorrento Port (Porto Di Sorrento) to visit Capri where you can then take the bus to also visit Anacapri. Cián and I visited here for the day when we were in Sorrento and it’s gorg. Stunning views, food and lots of little streets for shopping! You can also take the Ferry to visit Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.

Day trip to Capri 

In Sant’Agnello area, you will find Piazza Tasso which is the main square in Sorrento. This is great for plenty shops, restaurants and bars. A lot of hotels in the area are within walking distance to the square however some hotels offer shuttle services to and from.

If your looking for something a little more lavish, Maya Beach club is pricey however, a stunning place to chill and enjoy some cocktails with gorgeous views

Little Italian style black sand beach. It can be crowded however you don’t have to pay. Many of the beaches in Sorrento, especially the Solariums, you have to pay to access!

This was our favourite restaurant when we visited Sorrento! Located off the main square, fresh pasta and the best tiramisu!

Cián and I sunbathed on the solarium with a few strawberry daiquiri’s after picking our wedding venue! You have to pay for sun loungers on the solarium, so worth it with access right into the water!

Things to Do

Transport on the wedding day; A few minibuses have been scheduled (times TBC) to collect guests from a meeting point (exact location TBC) in the Sorrento main square. The minibuses will then transport all guests to Villa Fondi for the ceremony which will begin at 5pm; guest arrival at 4:30pm. After the Ceremony, the buses will transport all guests from Villa Fondi to Hotel Corallo for the reception. Reception will end at midnight. Transport at the end of the night will not be provided. You can request for Hotel Corallo to arrange a taxi if required. Airport Transfers; There are various ways to transport from Naples International Airport to Sorrento (private transfer, taxi, bus or train). We recommend to check your flight time if considering public transport from the airport as trains etc. do not run late at night. Private transfer or taxi can be more expensive but would be required in these cases. If choosing private transfer, we would recommend using Sorrento Coast Shuttle. www.sorrentocoastshuttle.com

Any guests that are looking to have hair and/or makeup done for the wedding day, I have had a few recommendations for artists in the area. Hair and makeup can be expensive in Italy however I have been told they are quite reasonable. Feel free to have a look if you wish! They may even travel to your location.
