Asher had been a server at the local pizzeria for years, often waiting on the DiMaiolo family, though we had never formally known each other. It wasn’t until we both joined the fire department that our paths truly crossed, and we became friends. Whether it was firehouse activities, grabbing ice cream, or simply spending time with our group, we quickly became inseparable. In 2020, halfway through the pandemic, our friendship blossomed into something more, and we started dating.

Over the years, we’ve shared a love for trying new cuisines, traveling, exploring nature, and hitting the slopes together.

During our annual anniversary trip to Maine, Asher planned the most magical night of our lives. As the sun set over the water, he asked Ciara to spend forever together—and, of course, she said yes! We returned home as an engaged couple, and from that moment on, our lives changed forever.
