We met at York County Juvenile Probation, being paired together to pass our Rookie Defensive Tactics Training in October of 2017. We grew to be close friends at work and knew we could depend on each other through our crazy caseloads. Through many early morning/late night transports, lunch dates at Chilis, happy hours at Waterway and fieldwork partner days, we realized we might actually like each other. On 10/5/18, during yet another transport with a juvenile, we finally decided to make things official. And then enjoyed a weekend in Blacksburg, VA to watch VT vs. Notre Dame football game!

We traveled to Dallas, TX to meet CJ, Rees’ best friend and best man. Fun fact: this was Ciara’s first time ever flying.

State Championship 2020 Central York vs. St. Joseph’s Prep. Rees has coached at Central York since 2019. Football is a part of our life and family. Our friends traveled to Hershey Park Stadium in the freezing cold to support.

We bought our first home! We completely renovated this house and made it our home with the help of friends and family.

Rees introduced golf to Ciara. We are now a golfing family. Central York Football Golf Tournament with Ciara’s best friend, Jacqi.

Thanksgiving 2022- Atlantic City. We also have a loose tradition of spending Thanksgiving in Atlantic City.

The 2nd annual Christmas Party. Unfortunately, we all got the flu following the party and now reference this holiday tradition as “the super spreader”.

Christmas 2022- Rees proposed. We both are not good at keeping secrets and surprises but Ciara had no idea. Thank you to Megan and Lauryn for keeping the secret and making this happen. The adventure continues to await!

Our second trip to Aruba. Booked our wedding and set the date for 12/5/24 during this trip.

Spent the week in Las Vegas in 110 degrees. One of Ciara’s favorite trips.

We captured our engagement photos in the same place that we met and built our relationship. Our beautiful and talented friend, Sammy Jo, took our photos and made the experience unforgettable. Shout out to her for also being the only person to get Rees to cooperate with photos.
