IS THERE A GIFTS REGISTRY?

As we are celebrating our wedding in the UK and Bangladesh and live in a small apartment in New York we can't easily store or transport physical gifts - so we are not able to accept any physical gifts. The best possible gift is being able to see you at our wedding and celebrate with you. We know that travel and accommodations are not always cheap, so please do not feel obligated to give anything additional, we appreciate the effort you are making to be with us.

WHAT ARE THE VISA OR ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR BANGLADESH ?

You’ll usually need a visa to come to the UK. In most cases, you must apply for a Standard Visitor visa.

You’ll need to have a tuberculosis (TB) test if you’re coming to the UK for 6 months or more and both of the following apply:

- you’ve lived in Bangladesh for 6 months or more you were living there (or another listed country) within the last 6 months

You’ll need a TB test if you’re coming to the UK as:

- a fiancé, fiancée or proposed civil partner on a family visa

- a returning resident and you’ve been away for more than 2 years

CAN I BRING ADDITIONAL GUESTS?

Yes, you can bring any number of guests. Bangladeshi weddings are big fat wedding affair!

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Yes, kids are welcome!

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

November in Bangladesh generally has very warm temperatures, with precipitation levels ranging from low to moderate.

You can expect very warm maximum daytime temperatures of around 31°C (88 F) and nighttime temperatures around 20°C (68 F) in Dhaka. While the given temperatures for day and night are typical, there may be days that feel warmer. Make sure you're dressed in a way that keeps you cool and comfortable.
