The ceremony will begin at 2 P.M. We recommend arriving a bit earlier to find parking and a seat.
Where is the ceremony taking place?
Our ceremony will be taking place at St. Mary's Catholic Center in College Station, Texas. It will be in the small church, not the cathedral.
Will there be specific religious practices that guests are expected to follow?
Guests are invited to observe or participate in the Catholic customs as they feel comfortable. However, only Catholics who have been fully initiated into the Church may receive communion. Non-Catholics are still invited up to the altar during Communion to receive a blessing. The priest will provide more information about this during Mass.
What can I expect during a Catholic wedding ceremony?
Our Catholic ceremony will include traditional elements such as readings, vows, and Mass. Guests of ALL faiths are welcome to participate as they feel comfortable.
Is there a dress code for the ceremony?
While there isn't a specific dress code for the ceremony, we recommend attire that is respectful and modest.
Is there parking available at the church?
Yes, there is ample parking available at the church next to the cathedral.
The Reception
Where is the reception taking place?
The reception will be taking place at Wind Dancer Retreat in Bryan, Texas. Please keep in mind that the venue is about a 30 minute drive from the ceremony.
Is there parking available at the reception venue?
Yes, there is parking. We do however recommend carpooling, as there is only about 75 available parking spots.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
The dress code is semi-formal. Please feel free to dress comfortably and join us in celebrating this special day.
Will food and drinks be provided?
Yes, there will be food and drinks provided by our caterer.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes, we will be providing alcohol. We will have a selection of wells, cocktails, beer, wine, and liquor.
