Things to Do in Walnut Creek
As the ceremony will be ending at 2:30 and dinner starts at 5pm, you might be looking for something to do in the meantime! The venue will be open with snacks and drinks immediately after the ceremony. If you're looking for an alternative, here are some activities (at your own expense, sorry!) to fill the time.
Heather Farm Park
This awesome playground is right next to the reception venue! There are various structures suitable for all ages, and it will be open until dusk.
Walnut Creek Library - Contra Costa County Library
This public library is close to the ceremony location, in the Civic Park complex along with woodland gardens and a playground. It has several floors, is decorated with art and sculptures, and has a bookstore and a cafe.
Broadway Plaza
A short 5-minute drive away from the ceremony venue, this large shopping mall offers plenty of stores and food. Visit their website for a map and more details!
