How We Met From Cindys Perspective: Aaron and I matched on a dating website. I believe Aaron messaged me first, but Im not certain now. I wish we had a screen shot of those first few exchanges. What I will always remember is Aarons straightforwardness. I was taken aback, slightly offended, and appreciative at the same time. Something about our back and forth banter was different from my experience on these websites. For example, my profile showed I had never been in a long term relationship and Aaron asked why. He thought I broke lots of hearts. Haha. On the other hand, his profile showed he had been in various relationships. I was concerned that he had never been single and did not how to be single. How We Met

From Cindys Perspective: While Aaron asked me out, I followed up because I didnt want to waste my time. He surprised me by picking and making a reservation (I find this shocking now knowing how he doesnt like to make plans in advance) at a Spanish tapas bar (Aaron picked the place thinking we were going to an Italian restaurant, lol) in Little Italy, San Diego. We started talking about work at first and then Aaron shifted the conversation once he had his second glass of wine, haha. He had been so nervous. I was taken aback by Aarons straightforwardness, but it was a fresh of breath air. He shared his non-negotiables, including never getting married. Of course I asked if hed be open to the idea with the right person and he said yes. Well, here we are; we are getting married! From Aarons Perspective: TBD
