Our wedding and reception are taking place at Queen Elizabeth park in Vancouver. Guests can enjoy the gardens, the Blodel Conservatory, and the view of Vancouver from the top of the hill! There is a light stroll separating the venues, and plenty of beauty to take in on the way. No need for travel once you have arrived!    See the Q + A section of the website for parking information.

Our Wedding

We met in an unexpected way - through the Brits in Vancouver Facebook group! Cindy was hoping to meet some new British friends, posting a goofy message with green hair in her profile pic. Julian liked the hair and responded with a coffee invite. Cindy, in turn, thought it was a green flag that Julian had a Master’s degree in Sociology and a New Order T-shirt. One conversation turned into many, and we quickly realized we’d stumbled into something pretty special - even if neither of us was looking for love at the time. A few years (and many dog walks) later, Julian proposed on Neskowin Beach, Oregon, beside the breathtaking Proposal Rock. Two people, who were skeptics about marriage for most of our lives, somehow both changed our minds! We’re so happy to be celebrating this next chapter with you - thank you for being part of our story.

Where is Queen Elizabeth Park? Queen Elizabeth Park is on 'Little Mountain' (125m/410ft) in the Riley Park/Little Mountain neighbourhood of Vancouver.It is on the unceded traditional territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh), and Tsleil-Waututh (səlil̓wətaʔɬ) Nations. Where can I park? There is paid public parking available throughout Queen Elizabeth Park, including right near our ceremony venue—the Celebration Pavilion—and close to the Bloedel Conservatory and Seasons in the Park restaurant.•	Closest parking lots:•	Celebration Pavilion/Bloedel Conservatory Lot (top of the hill)•	Seasons in the Park restaurant lot•	Overflow lots are available further down the hill if the upper lots are full. 💳 Rates: Approximately $3.75 per hour (subject to change). Pay stations accept cards and the PayByPhone app (Location #3690 for QE Park). 🕰 We recommend arriving at least 15–20 minutes early to find parking, pay, and walk to the venue without a rush. ♿ Accessible parking is available close to the Pavilion and restaurant entrances.📍Pro tip: If you’re using Google Maps, set your destination to Celebration Pavilion, Queen Elizabeth Park for the most direct route. What about public transport? There are two main public transit options for getting to Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver:&nbsp;taking the SkyTrain and walking, or taking a bus. The best option depends on your starting point and how much you want to walk. Option 1: SkyTrain and a short walkThe fastest method from downtown or Richmond is to take the Canada Line SkyTrain to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.google.com/viewer/place?mid=/m/0cv5bc&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=2ahUKEwiQj8LAjMWPAxV7ADQIHSiMDgcQqdYPegYIAwgFEAE" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">King Edward Station</a>&nbsp;and walk south to the park.&nbsp;Take the Canada Line: Board a train on the Canada Line, heading toward Richmond–Brighouse or YVR–Airport, depending on your origin.Exit at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.google.com/viewer/place?mid=/m/0cv5bc&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=2ahUKEwiQj8LAjMWPAxV7ADQIHSiMDgcQqdYPegYIAwgGEAI" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">King Edward Station</a>: The journey from downtown's Waterfront Station takes about 9 minutes.Walk south on Cambie Street: From the station, walk south for about 10–15 minutes, following Cambie Street up a gradual hill for five blocks.Arrive at the park: The main entrance is at the intersection of Cambie Street and West 33rd Avenue.&nbsp; Option 2: All-bus routeYou can take a bus that drops you off closer to the park's entrance, avoiding the uphill walk from the SkyTrain station.From downtown: Board the&nbsp;#15 Cambie&nbsp;bus, which runs south on Cambie Street. This is the most direct option for a bus route from the city center.From the SkyTrain station: If you take the Canada Line to King Edward Station but prefer not to walk, you can transfer to a bus there.Walk to the bus stop on Cambie Street at King Edward Avenue.Take the&nbsp;#15 Cambie&nbsp;or&nbsp;#33 UBC&nbsp;bus southbound for two stops.Get off at the park entrance: Exit the bus at the stop on Cambie Street at West 33rd Avenue, which is directly across from the main park entrance.
