Point Pleasant Beach has both public access and private beaches. The southern end of town is comprised of a public access beach. There is a small fee to get on the beach and lifeguards are present form 9-5 each day. Entrance to this beach can be found on Ocean Avenue.


COST: Daily passes (prices range from $3-4 per kid ages 5-11 and $11-12 for adults) can be purchased at any open gate. Kids under 5 are always FREE.

AMENITIES: Beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent.

LIFEGUARDS: On duty at Jenkinson’s Beach from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through the weekend after Labor Day when the beach is open, weather permitting.

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk offers a wide range of fun and exciting activities. Chris and I enjoy playing games, arcades and eating. We have many fun memories here.

The Point Peasant community is a mecca for restaurants with many casual family eateries, and fine dining destination restaurants. Many of the high end restaurants are open year round.


You will find many good restaurants in the Boardwalk, around the town waterfront. Seafood is a must to try.

Point Pleasant Parasail. We are open six days a week (weather permitting), beating the heat high in the sky! Our captains have over 25 years combined experience in the parasail industry and we adhere to strict regulations to ensure the safety of our customers.


We take reservations online or over the phone, and we can't wait to see you. As always, your safety has always been a priority and nothing has changed. We have protocols and sanitation procedures in place to keep everyone safe.

Jenkinson’s Aquarium is a privately owned facility located on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Since June of 1991, the aquarium has been dedicated to educating the public on all aspects of marine life and conservation. Each exhibit is designed to promote awareness of the animals, their habitats and conservation. We strive to provide our guests with a unique and memorable experience through creative exhibits as well as innovative educational and outreach programs.

Explore Castaway Cove where the Wheeler family became shipwrecked and used remains from the ship to design two unique adventures. Choose from the shipwreck bay course which takes you through caves, and past thunderous waterfalls, or head to the Crow’s nest, which travels to the top of the cove with amazing aerial views of waterfalls and plant life.
