We first met back in 2015… and to be honest, we didn’t exactly get along. (Shocking, we know.) We were “just friends,” but stubborn, competitive, and constantly challenging each other—it was like fate was trying to test us early. By 2016, we finally gave in and decided to start dating. Turns out, all that bickering was just the start of something amazing.

Over the years, we’ve discovered we have way more in common than we thought. We’re both die-hard sports fans (Duke forever, Real Madrid and Arsenal until the end), and we’ve traveled the world for vacations and soccer games alike. But no matter where we go, the best place has always been wherever we’re together.

We balance each other out in the funniest ways: she’s loud, energetic, and the life of the party; he’s quiet, reserved, and usually shaking his head at her—until you really get to know him (then good luck getting him to stop talking). Somehow, we keep each other grounded while also being exactly the same kind of competitive, passionate, and maybe a little stubborn.

Almost 10 years, countless adventures, and plenty of arguments over whose team is better later… here we are. We’ve been each other’s biggest fans and strongest supporters through every high and low, and now we’re finally becoming husband and wife.

Nos conocimos por primera vez en 2015… y para ser sinceros, no nos llevábamos precisamente bien. (Sorprendente, lo sabemos.) Éramos “solo amigos”, pero tercos, competitivos y siempre desafiándonos mutuamente—era como si el destino quisiera ponernos a prueba desde temprano. Para el 2016, finalmente cedimos y decidimos empezar a salir. Resulta que todas esas discusiones eran solo el comienzo de algo increíble.

Con el tiempo, descubrimos que teníamos mucho más en común de lo que pensábamos. Los dos somos fanáticos del deporte (Duke por siempre, Real Madrid y Arsenal hasta el final), y hemos viajado por el mundo tanto de vacaciones como para ver partidos de fútbol. Pero sin importar a dónde vayamos, el mejor lugar siempre ha sido donde estamos juntos.

Nos equilibramos de las formas más divertidas: ella es extrovertida, enérgica y el alma de la fiesta; él es tranquilo, reservado y casi siempre moviendo la cabeza ante sus ocurrencias—hasta que realmente lo conoces (luego buena suerte para que deje de hablar). De alguna manera, nos mantenemos con los pies en la tierra mientras compartimos esa misma competitividad, pasión y, tal vez, un poco de terquedad.

Casi 10 años después, incontables aventuras y muchas discusiones sobre cuál equipo es mejor… aquí estamos. Hemos sido los mayores fanáticos y mejores apoyos el uno del otro en cada momento, alto o bajo, y ahora finalmente nos convertiremos en esposo y esposa.
