Q + A

What is the deadline to RSVP?

In order to get accurate head counts for our venue and our vendors, we need all guests to RSVP by May 24, 2025. If we do not receive a response by this date, we unfortunately will have to assume you will not be in attendance, and you will be missed!

Can I bring a Plus One?

Unless specifically indicated on your invitation envelope, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. For example, if you have a plus one, your address will be listed as "{Your name} & Guest." Alternatively, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will be able to see if you have a plus one! We want everyone to share in the celebration, and this will ensure that we are surrounded by our closest friends and family. We hope you understand!

What is the dress code?

Our dress code is Semi-Formal. We would like our guests to dress nicely, but we do not expect black tie or formal wear. We do ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, t-shirts, or flip flops.

What would you recommend NOT to wear?

In order to avoid clashing with our wedding party, please refrain from wearing matcha green and slate blue. Additionally, our ceremony will be held outdoors, so there are a few considerations to be made. The ceremony will be held on uneven and loose stone, so please choose footwear accordingly! Temperatures upwards of 90° are common in Colorado at that time of year, as are spotty and (hopefully!) short-lived precipitation. Keep this in mind as you develop a plan for your attire.

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

In order for all guests to park and find seats at the venue, please arrive at the venue no later than 2:30PM. This assures you have plenty of time to find your seat, take an opportunity to mingle with other guests, and grab a welcome beverage!

Where should I park for the ceremony?

Though there should be parking at the venue, it is a public state park, so we anticipate some competition for the best spots. WE ADVISE YOU TO DO YOUR BEST TO CARPOOL WITH OTHER GUESTS IF YOU ARE ABLE. Any vehicle not registered with the city of Boulder will need to purchase a parking permit. Per the city of Boulder's website, daily permits cost $5 and may be purchased online through ParkMobile. Keep this in consideration as you make your travel plans!

When does the ceremony begin?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00PM. We ask that all guests have arrived and are seated before we walk down the aisle. As this is a very open venue, there are no sneaky entrances for late arrivals!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Our bartenders will be serving from the hours of 6:00pm to 10:00pm, and alcoholic beverages will be available to all guests above the age of 21 at our reception! Additionally, of course, we will be supplying non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day. Stay hydrated!

Can I bring my own alcohol?

NO. WE CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH. We are under strict regulations from not only our venue itself, but also from our bartenders. Any liquor consumed may only be served by a designated bartender, and we may face large fees if this rule is not followed!
