CJ and I met in Marion, IN during CJ's semester of student teaching and my second semester of PT school. The first time we met was at a friend's birthday party where we bonded over northern WI. :) CJ asked me out on a date for the following weekend where we spent the entire day together. We had an instant connection, but I thought it was too good to be true. Turns out it wasn't. ;) We made it official just a few weeks after our first date, and the rest is history! Within the first few months of our relationship, CJ moved up to Appleton WI while I was still in Indiana. We decided that this relationship was worth pursuing, despite the long distance, and we are both so glad that we did. Most of our dating relationship has been long-distance, however, we have been learning the art of communication and long-distance love. Many miles were put on our cars traveling back and forth to spend weekends with each other, which we definitely have not taken for granted. Now, we are finally living in the same state and we cannot wait to spend forever together!
