Kinda like a certain fairytale, it all started with a single rose 🌹. CJ and Britni matched on Hinge. Britni took a chance and sent her only rose his way, hoping he’d be interested. Little did they know, that small gesture would lead to something so big. The two quickly hit it off and found themselves sharing laughs, jokes, and plenty of moments that felt too perfect to be real. Just two months into their relationship, they faced their first test when CJ deployed to the Middle East for six months. It wasn’t easy being apart, but the two of them made it work, and those months only made their connection stronger. They’ve always had this effortless bond, whether they’re laughing about something silly or supporting each other through the challenges life throws their way. They’ve got cute little nicknames for each other too — Britni is ‘Bubbles,’ and CJ is ‘BooBear.’ If you ask them about it, they’d simply tell you, “It’s just one of the those things that makes us US, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.” On New Year’s Eve, as the clock struck midnight, CJ asked Britni to spend forever with him. The proposal was simple and sweet — on a crowded Guam beach, it felt like it was just the two of them. It was a moment that felt so perfectly right. CJ and Britni can’t wait to marry each other on July 14, 2025, and they’re so excited to see what the future holds. “Falling in love has been surreal for both of us, but every day together feels more real than the last.
