Both! The ceremony will be outside, the cathedral is surrounded by beautiful lush pine trees. Adam and Claira will have some blankets provided during the ceremony. The reception is inside the barn, but may be a little colder.

The dress code for Adam and Claira's wedding is farm formal. Boots are encouraged. Adam and Claira want you to dress comfortably but not like you’re about to till a field. Women should wear something similar to cocktail or semi formal attire, but the footwear is the most important part of the outfit. You will be walking outside and dancing in a barn so plan on shoes that are more comfortable and you don’t mind getting dirty. Men should wear slacks or jeans with a dress shirt or flannel. Vests and ties are optional.

An unplugged ceremony means a ceremony free of technology. Adam and Claira ask that you ensure that your phone is silent and put away during the ceremony.

Adam and Claira have a strict guest policy therefore their wedding is RSVP only. They will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

The RSVP deadline is February 28, 2023, which is approximately 8 weeks prior to the wedding. The RSVP is digital and can be done on this website under the RSVP tab, or simply scan the code on your invite and follow the instructions from there.

Adam and Claira recommend arriving approximately an hour before the ceremony is scheduled to start.

It is the end of April in Northern Minnesota, so there really is not a good way to know for sure what the weather will look like. Adam and Claira recommend keeping an eye on the weather and bringing layers to account for any surprises. Out of town guests can ask Adam or Claira for better recommendations if needed.

There will be an open bar offering bride and groom cocktail selections and beer kegs. There will be meat and cheese appetizers served during cocktail hour, sandwiches and chili served for dinner.

Yes! Adam and Claira will have a s'mores bar at the outside fire pits, and an ice cream bar inside the barn with the ice cream machine that Adam built.
