Travel

Attend church on Sunday at our favorite place! This is where the groom’s family has been attending since 1996! This is where we met. This is where we introduced ourselves. This is where we looked and smiled at each other for a few weeks. This is where we exchanged numbers by the Christmas tree as I showed my precious niece the ornaments. We love our church and the leadership team. We have been very blessed by this place!

Eat at Village Burger where we had our first date on New Year’s Day in 2025. We had to eat outside because they were only open for take-out, so if you want the full experience eat at the picnic tables outside in the January cold!

Go ice-skating at the Avalon! Neither of us had ice-skated in years and we almost went down so many times. We held hands here for a solid 3 hours. It was cold and crowded, but the most perfect night.

Go warm up at Café Intermezzo after ice-skating like we did. We fell in love over a Hot Chocolate DeLuxe & Hot Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup.

Did you know Cason doesn’t drink coffee? Like, at all? BUT one of Claire’s favorite things is when Cason brings her favorite coffee order to her work. If you’re looking for a cute coffee shop to get some work done, this place is great. Warm recommendation, a hot mocha or any latte with a fruity syrup. Cold recommendation, the Stone Table (which is seasonal and likely won’t be there when you come). It’s cinnamon brown sugar cold brew topped with strawberry cream cold foam.

Myth & Legend

Spoiler alert: we will be eating Mexican on 1/3/26, but we almost had pizza and it was definitely going to be from here! Owned by an incredible woman from our church, they employ people with disabilities and they make the BEST pizza. If you are gluten free, I definitely recommend this place. Best gluten free pizza around.

Go play trivia at The Well GA! We played The Simpsons trivia with Claire’s parents and absolutely dominated. Won 1st place! And we were DEFINITELY not the only team that showed and they felt so bad the Claire had put it on her calendar 3 weeks ago so they actually played when they usually don’t when there’s only one team participating…
