While I was in nursing school, I started working out at CycleBar where Jacob's mom, Jeanine was the general manager and taught classes. On December 20th, 2021, I went to a class where it was just myself and another girl. Jacob's mom had asked if I was single, and I responded with yes! Immediately after my yes, she started telling me about her son Jacob and how I should talk to him. She had me follow him on Instagram and he followed me right back. After that I left, laughing and thinking nothing would come of it.

About a few weeks later on January 5th, 2022, I saw an Instagram DM pop up on my phone from Jacob. So we talked through Instagram DM and eventually started texting. That weekend we decided we would all go out on Main street with our friend groups. That is where we both met each other for the first time. We had a lot of fun getting to know each other while being surrounded by our own friends. That following week we went to dinner just the two of us. From there we continued to talk and Jacob eventually asked me to be his girlfriend on March 27th, 2022. From that day on, we continued to do things together as well as with our close friends and family. We quickly learned we wanted to spend forever together.

Fast forward to December 5th, 2023 at a Christmas light drive through park, Jacob proposed and I said YES!! Both of our families and my best friend Jordan were there to celebrate with us following the engagement. Shoutout to Jeanine for thinking I would be a good fit for her son! It was a night we will never forget!

Our wedding is quickly approaching, and we are so excited to celebrate with all of our friends and family. We look forward to making more memories as Mr. and Mrs. Gonzales.
