Parking

Parking is provided in the Iowa Memorial Union ramp, conveniently located directly across Madison St. from the Iowa Memorial Union.

Parking for one car is complimentary. Additional parking passes may be purchased for $10 per night.

Parking passes expire at 3:00pm the day of departure. Additional time on the parking pass may be purchased for $3.30/hour. The hotel must be notified in advance for parking extension in order to provide you an updated parking pass before you leave.

Cancellation policy

If plans change and you are no longer able to stay with us, you must cancel your reservation by 3:00PM. the day before your scheduled arrival. Cancellations after this time will be charged a one-night cancellation fee.

***Exceptions***

Graduation Weekend, Football Weekend: You must cancel your reservation by 3:00PM. 7 days prior to your schedule arrival. Cancellation after this time will be charged a one-night cancellation fee.

No pets/smoking policy/bed scarf

As a reminder, the Iowa House Hotel unfortunately does not allow pets on the premises and is a 100% non-smoking hotel. A fee will be added to your bill if evidence of pets or smoking is found to have occurred in your room. Removal of Hawkeye bed scarf will result in charge of $59.95

Check-in/Out

Check-in at 3:00PM. Early arrivals may be available, subject to availability. Call a day before to check for early check-in. Check-out is at 11:00AM. Late Check-outs are based upon availability and a first come, first serve basis. Additional fees may apply. Reminder that parking passes expire at 3:00pm on day of departure. Additional hours for parking may be purchased for $3.30/hour and advance notice must be given to hotel staff.
