They met through mutual friends at the end of high school and immediately became close. This picture was taken during their very short awkward stage in their high school lunchroom.

The Cedar Rapids Bowling Center was their first date, which is also where Justin learned how amazing Claire is at bowling(spoiler: not amazing).
