We met 6 years ago in 2018 at the VMFA after messaging on the apps for a few days. We went on dates, met each others friends + families and spent each night traveling back and forth from my place in Oregon Hill with my roommates and Gavin's place in Scott's Addition with his roommates.

A few years later, in 2020, we moved in together in our first place in City Stadium, built a cozy home together and adopted our cats, Goose and Bean! We took many trips to Maine, Southern CA, Virginia Beach and spent endless nights goofing around Richmond with friends. We got engaged at the place of our first date, the VMFA, in June 2023 and partied with friends!

A few months ago, we packed up all of our things, drove across the country in search of a new adventure. We moved to San Diego where we surf multiple times a week and spend our time making new friends and exploring new areas. Gavin is a zookeeper at the San Diego zoo and I'm teaching at a new school. Spontaneously, we recently got married at the courthouse - just the two of us. It was so special and sentimental but we cannot wait to have the "real wedding" celebrations in October.

We miss our people daily and can't wait to have everyone together in one place!
