Our Wedding

Claire and Phil met on Halloween when Phil moved into the Battery. Claire was walking in the hallway when Phil and his best man Jack were carrying a mattress to his apartment. Phil’s next door neighbor Austin and his now wife Haley quickly introduced the two once Claire expressed interest in Phil. Phil quickly gained invites to Claire’s apartment for nightly cooked dinners and it quickly progressed to invites to Claire’s parents for weekly family dinners. Phil became an amazing addition to the family fun and was invited on a yearly family vacation to upstate New York in 2023. While on that vacation, Phil promised Claire’s younger cousin that if he made it back on the trip the next year, he would ask Claire to marry him. After a year of quickly becoming the best friend of Claire’s dog Raya, Phil kept his promise and asked Claire to marry him on the same trip in 2024. The two are very excited to start this new phase of life together.&nbsp;
