UPDATE – Please Read Carefully

Due to an unexpected change from the venue, the Beef Tenderloin option is no longer available. It has been replaced with Flank Steak served with Sweet Sherry Tomato Sauce, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans.

If you previously selected Beef Tenderloin on your RSVP and would still like a beef option, no action is needed — your selection has automatically been updated to Flank Steak.

If you would prefer to change your meal choice to Tuscan Chicken or Vegetarian Pesto Pasta, please contact Claire or Ethan directly.

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by Sunday, March 29th, 2026. This will allow time for the bride and groom to send a final count to the venue for seating, catering, and lodging.

What time should I arrive to your ceremony?

Please plan to arrive no later than 4:15 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. If you are checking in to Bay Pointe, please note that check-in begins at 4:00 PM. You are more than welcome to wait and check in after the ceremony during cocktail hour.

When should we book our room at Bay Pointe?

Please book your room no later than Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026. To access our room block, call the front desk and let them know you are with the “Flynn–Barringer Wedding.” After March 3rd, any remaining rooms will be released to the general public, and the discounted rate will no longer be available.

We recommend booking May 2nd–May 4th, as the hotel’s check-in time is 4:00 PM, which overlaps with the wedding time. If booking May 3rd-May 4th, you are more than welcome to wait and check in after the ceremony during cocktail hour.

Are plus-ones or children allowed?

Due to venue capacity limitations, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation and RSVP page. If your children are invited, your invitation will be addressed to “The [Last Name] Family” and their names will appear on the RSVP page. If a plus-one is included, your invitation will be addressed to “[Your Name] & Guest” and will also be reflected on the RSVP page.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both! The ceremony will take place on the beautiful Bay Pointe Woods lawn, while the reception will be held primarily indoors in the Bay Pointe Woods ballroom. If the weather cooperates, firepits will be lit outside at sunset for guests to enjoy.

Please plan accordingly for the weather, as early May in West Michigan can be unpredictable. Any necessary adjustments due to inclement weather will be made on the day of the wedding.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes — we’ll have complimentary beer and wine available. Mixed liquor cocktails and specialty drinks can be purchased at the venue’s bar.

What time does the reception end?

The reception will conclude at 11:00 PM, with a hard “out” time of midnight to allow the venue to clean and reset the space. That said, the celebration doesn’t have to stop there! If you’re staying on-site, you’re welcome to continue the festivities in your cottage or hotel room.
