Our journey began in the digital world, where we connected online and soon discovered we had mutual friends from our days at NC State.

Our first date was at a Mexican restaurant, but little did we know, we had each chosen different locations in Greensboro, thinking there was only one. As we sat waiting, each of us feeling a little stood up, we finally shared our locations. That’s when we realized! He hopped across town to join me. The waiter at my table was convinced I was going to leave without him, especially since I was already on my second margarita.

When he arrived we shared stories and laughter, and the chemistry was undeniable. That night, I met his brother and friends downtown, and it felt like I was being welcomed into his world.

With every date that followed, we grew closer and learned more about each other. Our values and beliefs aligned, and it didn’t take long for us to realize we had both fallen for one another—fast! It became clear that he was the one I was meant to spend my life with, the answer to years of prayers. Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we’re excited to celebrate our love story with all of you!
