Our Wedding

Tim and Claire met on Plenty of Fish, an online dating website in September 2019. Claire came across Tim's profile and was intrigued by his love of reading. She waited a few days to see if he would message her first, but she finally became impatient and messaged him. She was happy when he responded and they messaged back and forth before exchanging phone numbers. After a few days of texting and getting to know you conversation they decided to meet. Tim wanted to go out for non-alcoholic drinks so he picked Buffalo Wild Wings (Claire thought it was ironic too). They met and had an interesting first date to say the least. They enjoyed talking and laughed a lot. When the night finally came to an end, they decided to meet up again and began seeing each other several times a week. Fast forward a year(ish)... Claire (and her cat) moved into Tim's house in Elmira (with him and his cats). On the morning of February 14, 2021, Tim proposed to Claire at home. She was overjoyed but said no (in true Claire fashion) before saying yes (a few seconds later)! They are looking forward to their wedding day and the many adventures ahead.

Saturday markets at the pavilion are what we are famous for. They run April to December and have a little bit of everything. Farmers, chefs&nbsp;and&nbsp;artisans bring their best products for you! There’s food, groceries, art, crafts, music, Cayuga Lake… what else could you ask for? At peak season we overflow our 88-both pavilion, so be prepared for crowds!

Ithaca Farmers Market

As the saying goes, "Ithaca is GORGES!" What does that mean you might ask? Well, with over 150 waterfalls within 10 miles, Ithaca and the surrounding area were literally carved out by glaciers that formed gorges millions of years ago. If you are looking for the best waterfalls in New York, Ithaca is the place to visit. And the best news of all? Because these waterfalls are all so close to one another, you can see a bunch in one quick weekend trip!

The Cayuga Nature Center provides indoor and outdoor programs and exhibits that encourage visitors to explore and understand the natural history of the Cayuga Lake Basin as part of the regional and global ecosystems. The Nature Center’s 100 acres of woodland and old field overlooking Cayuga Lake are home to a six-story treehouse, live native animals, a gorge and waterfall, and more than 5 miles of walking trails. The historic main lodge, built by the WPA in 1939, houses the largest public aquarium in the Finger Lakes – highlighting the fish life of Cayuga Lake past and present – as well as exhibits on local forest ecology, wildlife, and climate.

Cayuga Nature Center

Explore Earth and its prehistoric past—from the tiniest trilobites to the mighty mastodon—through engaging and interactive displays, hands-on features, stunning fossils, and science-inspired art. The Museum of the Earth provides an opportunity for scientists, science enthusiasts, families, and their children to learn about Earth in a fun and engaging way. There is always an exciting array of permanent and temporary exhibits to discover and a variety of rotating events to attend each month.
