How We Met
We met at work in late 2018. If you have seen The Office, we were totally the Jim and Pam of our company.
San Diego Natives
We were both born and raised in San Diego, CA! We love that we both have so much history in this city. We plan on living here as long as possible, ideally forever.
Our first date
Spring 2020, we found ourselves both single and adjusting to the strangeness of the pandemic. After months of casual chit-chat, some mild flirting, some shared work grievances, and a lot of nerding out over Star Wars, Tim asked me out on a date.
On June 19, 2020, we met for dinner and drinks at Backyard in Pacific Beach and well...the rest is history.
How We Fell In Love
Working together and dating during the pandemic kept us close and sped up the "getting to know each other" process.
Whether it was geeking out over the Mandalorian, or sharing deep thoughts on work, life, love, loss, and personal growth, we discovered we were kindred spirits.
From work colleagues to genuine friends, to lovers who rollerblade and wear 3d printed Star Wars outfits - we love doing life with each other.
How Did Tim Propose?
Tim proposed on December 16, 2023, at Claire's annual family Christmas Strudel Party. Normally, it includes a cornhole tournament, strudels made with love, a white elephant gift exchange, and quality time with family. But this time, it included an epic surprise.
Tim 3D printed and painted a Pokemon Ball to present the ring and pop the question.
