Thomas and I have been together for a long time and have had many beautiful, exciting, and challenging experiences along the way. We first met in our second year of college at the University of Oregon in 2014 through mutual friends. After a few years of getting to know each other, we began dating and have been together ever since.

After I completed my degree, I returned to Portland. Thomas joined me shortly after, relocating from his hometown of Mountain View, CA.

In 2019, we decided to temporarily move to Australia, where Thomas's extended family lives. This move was so transformative and solidified our relationship. Unfortunately, our stay proved to be short-lived, due to the Covid-19 pandemic beginning about five months after we'd arrived.

We quickly returned to the United States and moved in with Thomas's parents in the small coastal town of Bodega Bay, California, before returning to Portland in 2021. After moving around a few times, we found a great apartment, and adopted our beloved dog Billie.

We have built a wonderful life together; after a decade of friendship and nearly eight years of dating, we could not be happier to make our commitment to each other official. Thomas and I are so appreciative to our family and friends for coming together to celebrate our marriage.
