Claire was working as a waitress at Mezzanine, a restaurant in Egg Harbor, WI, just before starting dental school in 2022. On one of her last shifts, while chatting with the couple at one of her tables, it came up that Claire would be starting dental school at Marquette in just a few weeks. The couple (Robin and Bob Mayfield) was excited to hear this, as their son, Kyle, was finishing up his first year at Marquette Dental School.Claire didn't realize we had a mutual friend who told Kyle months beforehand that we would be great together! Between this friend and his parents, Kyle decided he couldn't wait any longer and reached out to Claire. From that point on, we instantly clicked. We started talking non-stop, our beginning phone conversations were something closer to long essays back and forth, and we even went on a few dates before Claire started dental school. The first place we met was at the Explorium in Milwaukee's Third Ward. On Kyle's Graduation day, he brought Claire back to the Explorium to pop the big question, the best surprise EVER!!The past four years have been nothing short of amazing. We have had so much fun going through dental school with each other. Exploring Milwaukee while making so many lifelong friends and memories together has been the most fun of all!As we step into this next chapter as husband and wife, we couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds! We have been so fortunate to have so many incredible and supportive friends &amp; family who have been on this journey with us. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Given the uncertainty of a Packer home game, we are unable to secure a hotel block. We highly recommend booking accommodations ASAP, if needed. Feel free to look into any nearby hotels, Airbnbs, VRBOs, etc. Hotel reservations will be unavailable until after the NFL schedule is released. We will try our best to open a hotel block if there is not a Packer home game. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
