Back in September of 2022 I was at Tap 14, a rooftop bar in downtown Denver. Somehow, my drink ended up all over my shirt. While I was upset in the moment, that spilled drink gave James a topic to break the ice when he approached me. We talked about everything: what brought us both to Tap 14, favorite places in Denver, and of course, the classic “What’s your story?” Towards the end of the night, I gave him my number. Later, we had our first date at Hazel, and the rest is history!

It's about a 40-45 minute drive from the airport to near where the venue is, I would recommend renting a car!

Travel

Go and see the famous concert venue! There are many hikes around the venue additionally. Find on Google or the app Alltrails.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

A bit far, but if you are coming early or staying late it's a beautiful area to walk or hike around.

Garden of the Gods

There is an outlet mall in Castle Rock, Cherry Creek Mall in Denver, and South Broadway has many thrift stores and fun shops.

Shopping

Easy hike in Littleton, 2.6 miles round trip, There is a small fee to park at the base of the hike.

Fountain Valley Trail

3 mile hike in Red Rocks, with about 400 feet of elevation gain. Find online or on Alltrails!

Downtown Littleton is about 15 minutes from the venue! There are many boutiques and restaurants. Perfect for breakfast or lunch before the wedding.
