Our first date came soon after we matched on a dating app in January 2022. We skipped the small talk and decided to meet at a local Mexican restaurant. We talked and laughed for hours over a few baskets of chips and burritos. The best part of that meal was the immediate connection we shared.

After the dinner date, many texts were sent back and forth to one another. The very next day, we ventured out into the snow for what turned out to be the first of many amazing hikes together.

We had always planned the most perfect dates; trips to the zoo, long walks, picnics, and of course rides in the legendary Crown Vic. We have always valued spending quality time with one another, and have made each meeting into an adventure.

On a crisp and clear day in January 2024, Nicholas proposed to Claire at one of their favorite spots in Delaware. Claire, of course, said yes to the easiest question of her life.
