Claire and Seth both arrived at Miami University in the fall of 2016. They ran on the University’s Track and Cross Country teams, specializing in steeplechase. They often hung out together in large friend groups at practice, the dining halls, and other extracurricular events. In the winter semester of 2019 they took their first solo date to the Oxford uptown UDF (United Dairy Farmers) to get milkshakes, and the rest is history!

Following 2020 and the pandemic, Claire stayed an extra year in Oxford to earn her Masters in Business Analytics. Seth was living in the Chicago suburbs and had just started his job at Zurich Insurance.

They maintained long-distance dating while Claire completed the Orr Fellowship in Indianapolis and Seth continued work in the Chicago suburbs from 2021-23. In summer of 2023, Claire finally moved up to be with Seth, and in fall of 2024 they were engaged on a beautiful evening walk at Hawk Hallow Nature Preserve.

They are so grateful for all the friends and family support they’ve had over the years and can’t wait to celebrate the rest of their forever together with all the wedding guests!
