We found each other through the dating app, hinge. We didn't really have high hopes that using an app would be successful but now, almost three years later, we couldn't be happier. Our first date was on July 2, 2021, at The Old Fashioned, which Zac suggested because of our shared love for beer and cheese curds. We hit it off instantly, and we did not want the night to end. Our love grew over the next two years. Despite having different work schedules at UW Hospital, we made time to get to know each other. Zac made a big effort to take care of Claire's dog, Luna, when she worked late in the evening. After months of bringing blocks of cheddar cheese back and forth between each other's apartments, we decided to take the next step and move in together. Later that year, Zac proposed to Claire at the top of a mountain while skiing and snowboarding in Colorado. (She said yes!)

Which brings us to today: We adopted our second puppy, Cooper. The two dogs always keep us on our toes, which is why we knew it was time to purchase our first home together. The past few months have been nothing short of amazing, and we are thrilled to officially tie the knot in July!
