If you do not have a passport, apply for one. You can do this online or go to a post office and get a form to mail in.
If you already have a passport, make sure to check its expiration date! Passports that expire between June 2025 through December 2025 will need to be renewed before traveling abroad for our wedding.
If it is an emergency, you can apply for an emergency passport online or in a post office, but it will cost more than a regular passport.
If you plan on traveling to the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), be sure to complete the application online at least a week before traveling.
Note: Northern Ireland counties include Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Derry, and Tyrone. Make sure to check if any of your trip is located in these counties - if so, complete the application!
When booking your flight to Ireland, we recommend using Aer Lingus if you are flying from Chicago- O'Hare due to the airfare and direct flight option. Unfortunately, there are no direct flights from Detroit to Dublin, so please keep that in mind when making travel plans. Try and talk with other family members and friends that are joining us for our wedding to make traveling in groups easier. When booking your ticket to Ireland, we ask that you make sure to book your ticket at least 3 days before the wedding on June 25, 2025, just to make sure your are well rested to come celebrate with us! Make sure to book your ticket so you are flying into DUBLIN, IRELAND.

The Shirley Arms is located in Carrickmacross, the town where the McNulty family lives. Their 25 rooms are tastefully furnished in a modern chic design. They offer twin and double kingsize beds and have a number of family rooms. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of small shops, restaurants, & authentic Irish pubs, and it is located approximately 15 minutes from Cabra Castle. There will be a small shuttle bus to take guests to the castle on wedding day.

The Riverbank is located approximately 17 minutes from Cabra Castle and 10 minutes from the town of Carrickmacross. It is one guest house that contains four bedrooms primarily consisting of single, double, and queen beds.
Reminder: There are other Bed & Breakfasts in Carrickmacross and the neighboring towns such as Castleblayney. A quick google search should help you find some that may better accommodate your group :)
The town of Dundalk is 30 minutes from Carrickmacross & Cabra Castle, and it has a greater selection of hotels as well as places to eat, drink, and shop!
