On a warm day at the end of the summer of 2016, Rob Faugno and Claire McSherry walked into Seton Hall School of Law with the intent of becoming lawyers. Little did they know, three years later, they would walk out of Seton Hall Law with much more than a law degree. Somewhere in between the studying, the all-nighters, and all the stress they found something special. They found each other. What started out as an amazing friendship, quickly blossomed into an incredible romance. The budding barristers bonded as they tackled every hurdle, every obstacle, every challenge, together. As they moved closer toward their goal of becoming lawyers, they also grew closer to each other. Until, finally, in May of 2019 they shared another amazing milestone when they graduated from Seton Hall Law.

Soon after passing the bar exam, the two newly minted attorneys moved in together, ready to start the next chapter of their lives. The countless hours the two had spent together had finally paid off as both Rob and Claire began their Judicial Clerkships. But after all the time Rob and Claire had spent together one thing had become clear, they were meant to be together. And that is why on February 22nd, 2020, Rob knew it was time. On a rooftop in Jersey City, overlooking the New York City skyline, Rob took the ultimate leap and asked for Claire’s hand in marriage… and she said Yes!

Almost four years after they walked into Seton Hall Law, Rob and Claire formed a partnership they never expected. Now the newly engaged couple is excited to continue their journey together and invite you to join them as the make their marital vows on October 9th, 2021. #RobdClairesHeart
