People say that you should never meet your heroes. Dan met Claire on a dreary evening in 2014 in the window booth at Yellow Belly. After an evening of confirming their mutual love of dogs and great food, after Dan braved the task of eating a salad in front of his new love interest, and after Claire's cousin banged on the window, successfully scaring her and her hot date, they figured that they would like to see each other again.

In the time between now and then, Claire and Dan have shared many memories. They traveled to the West Coast of Canada, the US, and St. Barth's. They moved (again and again) and welcomed their fur baby Stella into their family, and they supported each other through everything in between.

Finally, in 2023, Dan found Claire watching reality TV on the couch, bundled up in blankets like the hungover goblin that she was (it was the Holidays...), and decided that this was the time to pop the question. An obvious "yes!" later, they have been celebrating ever since.

They cannot wait to tie the knot surrounded by family and friends!
