It all began with a prom date in 2017. When Claire was searching for someone to accompany her to her senior prom, one of her friends knew just the person: Tristan. That evening of dancing and laughter sparked something special, and Claire and Tristan both felt a connection right away.

Shortly after prom, Claire and Tristan began dating. But life had other plans—their paths were set to diverge, with Claire heading to Oklahoma State University and Tristan to the University of Kansas. Rather than let distance get in the way, they decided to embrace the challenge.

For five years, Claire and Tristan made many trips back and forth between Stillwater and Lawrence. Through lots of Facetimes, weekend visits, and countless miles traveled, they proved that when you find the right person, no distance is too far.

Claire and Tristan’s patience and dedication paid off when both were accepted to the University of Tulsa College of Law, finally bringing their story to the same city. Today, Claire has established herself as an attorney at Rodolf and Todd, while Tristan plans to join the legal world upon his graduation this May.

Along the way, their family has grown to include three beloved fur babies: Chewie, Bella, and Pepper, who bring endless joy and chaos to their home. Now, as Claire and Tristan prepare to begin their greatest adventure yet, they can’t imagine celebrating this special day without their favorite people. Thank you for being part of their story!
