Claire is from a very diverse family. Her mother is Nicaraguan, father is from the Dominican Republic, and her older brother is from Guatemala. Throughout her life, she traveled all over North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. When she was 6 years old, her family came to the States to pursue "The American Dream". Her parents have always encouraged her to keep going no matter what. Being the youngest member of the family, she continues to ambitiously navigate through life without fear of the future. Living a purposeful life as a goal each day.

Chris is one of three boys, with an older and younger brother. His parents are both from Jamaica, and moved to Canada before he was born. Throughout life, he has traveled between the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Just like Claire, his father was a minister, so he also grew up in several locations. Through his various pursuits, Chris has always been up for new challenges and experiences while striving to do the best each day.

Chris was new to town and decided to visit a local church. Upon entering, he was greeted by Claire. From that moment Chris was drawn to her and was determined to get to know more about her. Immediately, they both clicked, and a relationship grew as they began to learn more about each other. As the months went by, their love and friendship grew stronger. On May 10, 2015, Chris proposed, and Claire said yes! Now, a new chapter begins as they move closer towards marriage, a love that grows stronger each day.
