We crossed paths on Tinder in late 2020, engaging in intermittent conversations until the stars aligned for our first encounter. Valentine's Day of 2021 marked the beginning of an unforgettable journey, as we delved into heartfelt discussions about our aspirations and principles over four hours at a Smokey Row coffee shop. Despite the geographical distance that separated us, the spark between us ignited a determination to bridge the gap.

Our blossoming connection led us on many adventures throughout the spring, exploring things like the Amana Colonies, Walnut Woods Park, and more. By May 5th, 2021, our bond had solidified into an official relationship. Throughout that summer, we eagerly traversed the miles to reunite every week, cultivating a bond that defied distance.

Come August, Claire made the bold leap to Des Moines, setting the stage for a new chapter in our lives. While we opted to savor the journey, Claire found her own space, yet our hearts remained intertwined as we spent nearly every night together.

In August 2022, we moved in together and became a happy family of three - Claire, Alex, and Opal! With our humble abode now shared, our love has only deepened, weathering life's highs and lows with unwavering support. Our connection transcends the ordinary; it feels as though our souls and minds are harmoniously entwined.
