Despite both attending Duquesne University, we did not meet there. In fact, we had to leave the country to find one another. In, Bologna, Italy, to be exact, at the Bologna International Opera Academy. Working together there as a performer and a collaborator, we liked one another right away. Something clicked. The friendship was easy. Returning to the states after that trip to complete our Senior and Sophomore years at school, our friendship grew into something more. Something magical. One official date at a Pirate’s home game, and the rest was, as they say, history. Our history. The one that we create together every day.
