Instead of writing a traditional story about the exact details of how we met, we thought we would share these two letters we wrote to one another. While you might be a tad confused as to what and why you are reading these, you'll need a little bit of the background story first, so here is goes....Getting to celebrate and enjoy our first holidays together as boyfriend and girlfriend brought us some of the best memories and heartfelt moments. For Christmas, Dylan gave me (Claire) one of the best presents I could ever ask for. He gave me a leather journal that we could fill with pictures and mementos to always remember and cherish the memories we would make. While the journal and the meaning behind the journal meant the world to me, the piece of this journal that I will forever hold close to my heart is the letter Dylan wrote me inside. While he gave this journal to me as a scrapbook and craft project he was the one who made the first and best contribution. The moment I opened the journal and read this letter from Dylan I was not only reminded about what an amazing man and boyfriend (now fiancee) he is, but I also realized that he was my forever person, the person I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. The moment I got home that night I decided to write a letter back to Dylan. These letters we've written to each other are now attached back to back on the first page of our "Love Story Journal." While there was a little bit of contemplation with sharing our letters with everyone, we both decided that there is honestly no better way and no better story for us to share with everyone about how much we mean to each other.
