You are welcome to bring a camper/RV and stay on the property, though space is very limited - please let us know if you would like to do this so we can make sure to accommodate you! Otherwise, there are a few places around. The Sierra Hot Springs have a Lodge, small hotel, and campground. The Gilded Drifter Inn is located in Loyalton, about 10 minutes away, and has a couple rooms as well. There is more information on where to stay on our "Travel" tab!

While we love all your children, we ask that you obtain childcare or some other arrangement on September 7th for your kids.

Weather permitting, we hope for both the ceremony and reception to be outside, with a tent for reception. If weather is bad, we will do the ceremony down the street in the elementary school gymnasium.

Most people should be able to park at the venue. There will be signs telling you where to go so you don't get confused! If additional parking is needed, the elementary school down the street has parking and is only a very short walk down the block.

"Dressy Casual" For those who are confused by this, we want you to look dressed up, but not too much - e.g. no need to wear a tux, but don't wear jeans and flip flops. Button ups, slacks, suits, dresses (long, short, midi, sundresses, etc. ;) Color is encouraged, as well as cowboy boots/hats! Most of the night will be on a grass lawn, so keep that in mind while making shoe decisions :) Most importantly, we want you to be comfortable and enjoy the celebration!

While the weather in the Sierra Nevadas can be unpredictable, early September is usually in the 70s during the day, with a nightly low in the 30s. Don't forget to bring layers!

We ask that phones are not used during the ceremony. A professional photographer and videographer will be there documenting the day and we don't want to get in their way! Otherwise, take all the pictures you want. We will also have a QR code for you to be able to upload pictures to as well, so we can see how much fun everyone had!

We ask that you stay off social media for the duration of wedding. We want you all to enjoy the moment! After the wedding, if you want to post pictures, feel free!

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30, so we ask that you arrive closer to 4 to ensure that you make it to the ceremony on time. You may have to take a short walk from the elementary school parking lot to the venue, so make sure to plan time for that and for finding a seat!
