While we were both born and raised in Columbus, our paths did not cross until we both moved back to Columbus after college. Adam went to East High School and then Purdue University, while Claire attended North High School and then Indiana University. Truthfully, our paths never actually crossed, but we were very fortunate to be set up by close family and friends. As a matter of fact, the title of official matchmaker is still up for debate…

After our initial interaction on Instagram, which is quite comical considering our lack of social media presence, we met for our first date at 4th Street Bar & Grill. We quickly learned how much we have in common as we stayed out late and talked (even though it was a school night!!!). The first date soon turned into many more as we enjoyed meeting each other’s family and friends, going on hikes in Brown County, playing tennis and golf, trying out new recipes, watching movies, and much more.

After a year of dating, Adam proposed on Claire’s parents’ back patio. It was a perfect and intimate proposal, just as Claire had requested, and we were able to celebrate with immediate family after at a local restaurant.

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you all, our wonderful family and friends. And we can’t wait to see how the rest of our story unfolds!
