The story begins all because two people swiped right. This led to exchanging messages for a couple of weeks until they met in person for the first time at Fernbank Park on September 24th 2022. Paul and Claire spent several hours walking and talking at the park eventually sitting on a bench near a tree that overlooked the Ohio River. Claire remembers Paul gushing about his cute nieces and nephews and showing her lots of pictures. After this first spectacular meeting, led to several many more dates for the couple and on November 1st Paul asked Claire to officially be his girlfriend. From then on they have had many adventures from traveling to several states to going on “mystery dates” once a month including pottery class, visiting museums, day trips, etc.

Flash forward to October 11th 2024, Paul took Claire back to Fernbank Park, near the bench where they sat and chatted on their first date, and got down on his knee and asked her to marry him. Of course she said “yes” and the rest brings you here today.
