The Beginning

Our story began in the fall of 2019 during a fraternity party at the beginning of the school year. I saw Andrew as I was leaving one night and thought he was so cute. I tried to find him on social media later, but if you know Andrew, you know he's non-existent on the internet. I had to ask a mutual friend (thanks Levi!) to give him my phone number and to put in a good word for me to him. Once we started talking, we quickly became very comfortable with each other and the rest is history.

The Engagement

On February 2nd, 2024, we went to dinner at Rosaria's in Perrysburg. The restaurant had an amazing jazz band playing love songs and actually gave us one of their CD's. Little did I know that this would be a keepsake for the best night of our lives so far. As we were having dinner, I asked Andrew if we would get engaged this year. After he said we would, I said "Good luck trying to keep it a secret from me, I'll find a way to get someone to tell me as soon as I'm suspicious." (guess I need to work on my humbleness). After dinner, we went on a walk through downtown Perrysburg to the river, as we were standing by the river Andrew got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was truly so shocked and overwhelmed with emotion that I had no words. It was so amazing and a night that neither of us will ever forget.

Our 4.5 years together have been filled with love, laughter, tears, and memories. We are so excited for all the years to come.
