Our Wedding

Jacob and Clara technically met in kindergarten, although they didn’t have class together. 

Kindergarten

Jacob and Clara had their first class together in 3rd grade in Mr. Luckenbill’s class.

3rd Grade

Jacob and Clara began Junior High. They ended up being in Choir, Show Choir and Band together.

Junior High 

Jacob asked Clara to the Homecoming dance. She said yes, but forgot to invite him to pictures.

Sophomore year

It took a whole year, but Jacob invited Clara to Homecoming yet again. This time she remembered to invite him to pictures, and they finally started dating after the dance.

Beginning of Junior year

After homecoming Jacob and Clara went on their first real date to Duncan’s corn maze.

Sadly there was no homecoming due to covid, but they still got to go to prom together! 

Senior year

Clara and Jacob were in quite a few clubs together in high school. Senior year they both did musical together, Jacob in the show and Clara as the costumer.

Jacob and Clara graduated together in May of 2021

Graduation

Clara left to go to college 5 hours away at Allegheny College, while Jacob stayed at home to go to Albright. Long distance wasn’t fun, but they made it work. Jacob even drove all the way out to Allegheny to get dressed up and go to swim formal.

Freshman year of College 

Clara moved back home after freshman year of college, allowing Clara and Jacob to spend more time together. This picture is from their trip to New York to see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway!

New York Trip

This time Jacob invited Clara to his formal at Albright, instead of having to make the 5 hour trip to Allegheny. 

Junior Year of College

Clara and Jacob got engaged on June 21st, 2024 at her families cabin.

Clara and Courtney met at the ripe ages of 2 and 8 months in the St. Thomas Church nursery, although they really didn't become friends until they were in the same church choir group.

Bailey and Clara met through Jacob at Albright! They both bonded over chronic illnesses and many other shared intrests.

Mary and Clara met on the first day of Kindergarten out at recess. They were both in different classes but became quick friends.

Katie and Clara met when Clara started swimming at the Reading YMCA in 5th grade. Their love for the sport and distain for hard practices brought them together.

Rayjeana and Clara met during their 7th grade track meet between Oley and Tulpehocken. There aren't many girls in the sport of throwing so they became friends although they would only see each other at meets for the most part.

Growing up Jacob and Ben couldn’t have been more different. From as early as Ben being a few months old Jacob would ask their parents when they were going to “take Ben back to the hospital”. Eventually they would both grow to bond over their involvement in numerous shows together in high school.

By the time that Luke was born Jacob realized that he couldn’t just take him back to the hospital, and was in fact stuck with him. Although Jacob is the musically inclined brother, Luke wanted nothing to do with music and stuck with sports instead. While they are involved in vastly different activities they share the same sense of humor.

Jordan and Jacob met in elementary school over their shared love of Shrek, in particular Shrek 4. Over the years they would become close friends, sharing many similar interests in games and movies. Years later they would go on to take over Tulpehocken’s student show, Turtle Soup, recording many episodes of The Jordan Baer Show together.

Dan and Jacob were both dedicated members of Albright College’s vocal and theatre programs and quickly became friends through their shared love of performing. They both starred together in many of Albright’s productions.

Murphy and Jacob also went to Albright together. Although they are two years apart, Jacob was able to watch as Murphy grew into many different roles in the theatre department, including assistant directing shows that Jacob performed in.
