"To Do" before we say "I Do!"
Lackawanna Valley Heritage Trail
-Olive St. Trailhead near Scranton Running Co.
- Jimmy and Clare have done countless runs on the Heritage Trail. From 5K training in high school while the trail was being built to racing the annual Scranton Half Marathon, this trail is good for a mile stroll or a seven mile training run.
Lake Scranton
-Access Road off 307/Moosic St
-While fans of The Office might remember Lake Scranton as a beautiful destination for an office beach day, the reservoir is not actually open to swimmers or floating Sumo wrestlers. It does, however, have a perfect running trail for those looking for a scenic 3.5 mile loop.

Stirna's Bar and Restaurant

Jack's Draft House
-802 Prescott St Scranton
-The couple's first date took place in a booth across from the bar. JDH is a great stop for a craft beer in a vintage atmosphere. Clare recommends the chicken sandwich.

Coney Island of Scranton
-100 Cedar Ave Scranton
-If, like the bride, you can't survive a travel weekend without a hot dog, head to Coney "under the bridge" for a Texas Weiner. Jimmy's order is two with onion and mustard, but visitors are encouraged to get the regular with everything.
The Garden Restaurant
-109 N Washington ave Scranton
- If you don't plan on ruining your day with an afternoon chili dog, The Garden offers Lebanese and Mediterranean dishes and a stronger variety of vegetarian/vegan options than the other recommended restaurants.
