We met in Omaha in 2021 through a mutual friend (thank you Jenna!), and a few days later went on our first date to Hiro 88 for sushi. The next week, Blake was getting a dog, so our second date was picking out his yellow lab, Boyd—and honestly, that pretty much sealed the deal. Boyd has been part of our story ever since!

After only six months of dating, we decided to take a big leap and move to Denver. Luckily, it worked out! We’ve loved exploring Colorado (aside from CU Boulder) together and finding new hobbies like hiking, skiing, and fly fishing.

In December 2024, Blake proposed on a sunrise hike, and now—almost exactly a year later—we’ll be celebrating our wedding with all of our favorite people!
